With multiple locations in the Delaware Valley, Jr. 76ers Camps are the perfect setting for boys and girls 6-17 years old to learn basketball from the pros.
Instructional sessions with our resident coaches and college players include lessons on ball handling, rebounding, passing, offense - with and without the ball, defense - with and without the ball, and of course, shooting. We maintain a camper-staff ratio of 8 to 1 so that each camper gets adequate individual attention.
Everyone gets an equal amount of playing time in our competitive league play. Campers are placed in divisions based on age and ability. Team sizes are kept to a maximum of eight players.
Campers participate in basketball related games and activities in a fun and competitive atmosphere. Dunk contests, shoot-outs and the famous Hi-5 contest are great chances to win prizes and awards.
If you live in the greater Philadelphia area, you're just minutes from one of our Day Camps for boys and girls ages 6-14 or choose the Overnight Academy for boys and girls ages 10-17 held at Neumann University in Aston, PA.

Camp Staff
76ers Camps was started in 1985 as an opportunity for youngsters to learn the fundamentals of the game and "rub elbows" with some NBA players. The first year began with a few weeks of overnight camp of approximately 100 campers in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.
The unique aspect of the camp has been traditional basketball camp, along with the opportunity to learn from the pros. Meet players and coaches, attend 76ers practices and games. Learn what makes the 76ers Camps the preferred destination of boys and girls looking to improve their skill level.
By 1988, the overnight camp had filled to capacity of over 200 campers per week. It was that year that the Day Camps were started in 4 communities throughout Philadelphia and the suburbs.
The Day Camp program has since grown to 17 locations that provide a great learning experience for campers 5-13 years old.
Over the last 10 years, the 76ers Camps have sold out each year. Over 300 kids were turned away last year. The camps have grown to include boys and girls from over 40 states and 45 countries.
Cory Jacobson has 6 years camp experience and spends the majority of his time each year teaching the game of basketball with clinics all over the Delaware Valley.
